Welcome to our 11th annual Twin River's Merit Badge College! We are excited to have you join us. This is a chance for Scouts to Campout as well as earn their Merit Badges at the College on Saturday. The College is Saturday from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm. Please see the resources tab for information on each Merit Badge, including the Merit Badge Workbook.

Chemistry

Audience: Youth
Chemistry explores how substances react with each other, how they change, how certain forces connect molecules, and how molecules are made are all parts of chemistry. Stretch your imagination to envision molecules that cannot be seen—but can be proven to exist—and you become a chemist.

Emergency Prep.

Audience: Youth
Scouts are often called upon to help because they know first aid and they know about the discipline and planning needed to react to an emergency situation. Earning this merit badge helps a Scout to be prepared by learning the actions that can be helpful and needed before, during, and after an emergency.

Special Instructions: Bring $5.00, please bring your own tackle box, rod and reel. If you do not have these items, please contact Mary Jane at alexm@rconnect.com to request these supplies. Clothing: Wear Class B uniform and clothing appropriate for weather. Cook a fish, take a picture of you cooking a fish and be prepared to discuss what you did with the instructor. Fish can be store bought (No Fish Stix) Participant must read the merit badge book prior to class and come prepared to actively participate in class discussion. Hiking is a terrific way to keep your body and mind in top shape, both now and for a lifetime. Walking packs power into your legs and makes your heart and lungs healthy and strong. Exploring the outdoors challenges you with discoveries and new ideas. Your senses will improve as you use your eyes and ears to gather information along the way.
