
Don't miss your chance to own a piece of Scouting
history
Special-edition Dutch ovens were produced this
spring by Boy Scouts from the Winnebago Council of
the Boy Scouts of America at the University of Northern Iowa's Metal Casting Center,
to earn the BSA
Metal Casing Merit Badge (foundry option). Only 60
ovens were made. Fifty were given to the Boy Scouts who made them.
One will be given to the Council's Order of the Arrow Lodge. The
remaining nine will be
auctioned to the general public.
Option one: Three will be offered on silent auction at the Winnebago Council Scout Service Center. - Must bid in person at the service center - DO NOT CALL staff to place a bid for you.
Option two: Three will be offered on silent auction right here via the Winnebago Council Web site . Send your e-mail bid to kfranken@bsamail.org
The highest bid will be posted right here and
updated each morning and afternoon daily.
Option three: TWO will be offered on EBay

Council's National Court of Honor, Sunday, Sept. 19
at the Gallagher-
Bluedorn Performing Arts Center at the University of
Northern Iowa.
Funds raised will be used for Winnebago Council
scouterships for the 2013 National Scout Jamboree. Winners will be
responsible for shipping
costs, if applicable.
