Nathan Nicholson loved camping. His family wants to remember this
love by giving new Tiger Cubs the ability to go to Day Camp, and
experience the wonder of camp, just like Nathan did.
Thanks to the continued and generous donations from the Lantz family
of Cedar Falls, the “Nathan Nicholson Memorial Fund” has been
established. Each year, new Tiger Cub Scouts who are attending
Summer Day Camp for the first time will be eligible to have their
Day Camp fees paid through this fund. Applications are available at
the Boy Scout Service Center.
Nathan Nicholson was involved in scouting for 15 years. He loved
going to summer camp and attending troop campouts at Ingawanis.
Nathan was a CIT for one year, and worked summer camp for two years
where he enjoyed helping out in the first-aid cabin, the kitchen,
and assisting his Grandpa with the horseback riding. Nathan became
an Eagle Scout on 7/20/1999.
