INCLUSION COMMITTEE
The Inclusion (Special Needs) Committee was formed to promote
inclusion and diversity in our council, reflective of the districts
we serve.
The Committee’s Focus:
- Promotion of Scouting for boys (youth) and their families.
- To eliminate barriers for boys to participate.
- Provide Resources, Training and Support for the Council, Leaders,
Scouts and Families to make Scouting is accessible to EVERYONE.
EVERYONE
How Can You Help?
- Be A Inclusive Unit & Leader
- Have a great Attitude. Remember the boys who often need Scouting
the most may be the most challenging and rewarding. (Scouting is
about building Character)
- Extend Invitations (Inclusion vs. Targeting)

STATEMENT OF BELIEF:
Every boy in Scouting is a candidate for the Eagle Award. The only
limitations upon achievement of that award should be that boy's
individual desire, focus, and perseverance
