Meet the Artist

Mike Harn is a retired U.S. Navy Mass Communications Specialist Chief. He has been an artist all of his life. He specializes in oils, acrylics, and watercolors. He has designed and illustrated for print media including packaging. “Scouting has laid a strong foundation on which individuals have gone on to have successful careers, many of them in the military. As a retired Navy Chief, I am honored to have been able to contribute something to the Boy Scouts of America, particularly the Winnebago Council of Iowa.”

"Mike has been a joy to work with on the Jamboree patches. He has produced a set of patches that are distinctive, fun for the boys and collectible. We are so fortunate to have an artist that values our Scouting program. We can't thank him enough for all he has done for Jamboree 2010," said Jamboree co-chairs Jim O'Connor and Kathy Calhoun.
