As fall continues on, so do the activities!! Don’t forget
Roundtable, Tues. evening, October 14th, at 7:30. Eagle Orientation
will also be held Oct. 14th at 7:00 at the United Methodist Church
in Clear Lake. This is for scouts, parents, and leaders!
Fall Frolic is October 11th and 12th at the Winnebago Scout
Reservation! Join us for just one day or spend the night! Please
help us out and register EARLY!! We need to know your numbers so we
can have supplies and food for everyone!!
The Order of the Arrow will be having Fall Fellowship on Oct. 17th –
19th. If you were called out, but haven’t gone through your Ordeal,
this is the time to do that! It’s important for all members, youth
and adult, to attend the fellowship. It’ll be great fun!! Don’t
forget, if you haven’t paid your dues, you need to get that done!
The scouts should be busy now selling popcorn. Don’t forget you must
have your orders turned in by Oct. 24th. Pickup will be Nov. 8th at
Serta Mattress in Clear Lake. Check with me to find out the times
for pickup!
Do you enjoy a good scare? Want to show your scouts a great time?
Plan to attend “Terror in the Forest” at the Winnebago Scout
Reservation on Sat. Oct. 25th. There’s something for everyone, all
ages!
Hurry and sign up for the Lakeland District Pow Wow, Nov. 15th, at
the United Methodist Church in Clear Lake. This is a great
opportunity for all leaders, new and experienced, to gain knowledge,
improve your skills, and become enthusiastic about scouting!! Again,
please register early!! It helps us to plan for the event!
Training is REALLY important for your leaders! Let us know if you’d
like a training team to come to your community and put on a training
for your leaders.
