Wilderness First Aid provides individuals a foundation of
first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to
emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate
emergency medical services (EMS) response. This includes
wilderness and remote environments, including urban disasters,
such as earthquakes and hurricanes.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Wilderness First Aid Basics is being offered March 31, 2012, and
April 1, 2012, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Classes will
be held at Eagle Lodge at Ingawanis Adventure Base in Waverly, Iowa.
