Winnebago Scout Reservation - Volunteer

image - building a deck on Norris cabinHaving a great camp doesn't just happen. It takes a dedicated group of individuals and organizations to help support it in a variety of ways. Do you need community service hours or just want to help Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts have a great camp experience? Volunteers at WSR include camp staff, activity leaders, and people to help build and maintain our camp. You or your organization can volunteer for a day, a weekend or a lifetime. We need people to help build, paint, do electrical work, plumbing, cutting and splitting firewood, spreading wood chips on trails and program areas, picking up branches in camp sites, mowing, cleaning, organizing, cooking for activities and work days and much more.  There are projects for skilled and unskilled workers at all times of the year. There are many projects for scouts who need service hours for rank advancement. Of course donations of money and other items which can be used at camp or to maintain the camp are always welcome. See Friends of Scouting information.
